Benefits of Sex
Most health experts say sex is a very good form of exercise, very good for heart and also body releases some hormones which are good for body.
Are these benefits only through heterosexual intercourse, or same chemicals are released through masturbation? Do such chemical released when watching porn. Do homosexual sex also have same benefits?
This answer is much larger than 1000 characters will allow. Studies show benefits from both masturbation and intercourse, but the benefits seems to be larger from intercourse. Masturbation does help with blood flow and stress-reducing hormones, but it is not as physically demanding as sex. It also helps release some oxytocin, but you have much more release when you have contact with a partner because of the skin to skin contact over several parts of your body. Although I have not seen any studies, this should be similar in homosexual sex. So basically heterosexual or homosexual sex would bring more benefit than masturbation, and masturbation has benefits over having no activity.
Benefits of sex apply to all sexual partnerships - they are certainly not limited to a particular sexual orientation. There is no doubt that orgasms are good for you. They relieve stress, cramps, help you relax, are a natural pain killer, release feel good hormones, etc. You can definitely get those through orgasms during masturbation, too.
I understand there are beneficial things that go on in the body when you come into physical contact with another human being. I can't imagine the body reacts differently based on the sex of that person. If you feel loving towards someone and hold them the benefits will be the same whether they are the same sex or the opposite sex.
