Orgasm

By nancyjay on Dec 28, 2011 at 5:26 PM

When I am having sex with my boyfriend, I'm usually on top as it pleases us both. I have trouble achieving an orgasm....I get to a point and then lose it!!! What's wrong with me????

While i don't have a response to this one I would be interested in the response as I have a similar issue. Any thoughts from readers would be helpful.

Women's orgasms can get derailed at any moment in the process. It's not like men that have a "point of no return." Women usually need to keep the same stimulation that is getting them close, and continue to focus on your erotic thoughts. Any thought or anxiety that takes you away from the moment (even for a split-second) can derail your orgasm. That is where the concept of "being lost in the moment" is so important.

Take a hand in the process, or ask him to lend a hand. That is, lean back a bit, and let your fingers do the walking, or his. A gentle thumb works wonders in my experience, but then I'm just a guy ... who causes multiple O's ... ;>)

Yes -- so important to relax and let go. Perhaps focus on a secret fantasy. When you're on top, establish a rhythm that works, but perhaps before intercourse focus more on foreplay and letting him orally stimulate you.
