Hey hot, first, how long were you on any hormonal birth-control? How's your health? How's hubby's sperm count? Not saying these factors are a challenge for you; just some things to consider. Based on real experience, also try these...

Positions: if you allow the semen to flow out of your vagina obviously there's less there to go egg hunting. So immediately after intercourse--he'd ejaculated well into your vagina, while lying on your back, raise your legs over your body, helps to have pillows under your hips. Maintain that position for up to 20 minutes. And, if you orgasm after he has ejaculated in you chances are better that more ejaculate has been pumped into your canal by your contractions. Think through what usually happens during any love making session. Who comes first. What happens next. Girl on top less semen contained in vagina. Girl taken from behind, depends on angle. Man on top, girl with pillows under hips, stays that way...bingo. Better chances. Worked for my wifey. Gd lk

Have you checked with your Gyn? There are many factors that affect fertility, some biological, some environmental, some psychological. If you menstruate regularly, then you can plan to have intercourse 14 days before your period, which is when you ovulate. A couple of days before and after are also good. You should make sure there are no other factors preventing you from conceiving.

As far as positions go, if the woman is on her back and keeps her legs up, this allows the semen to pool around the cervix after the man orgasms, which maximizes the chance of the sperm getting through to the uterus, the fallopian tubes, and eventually finding the egg. If she can remain laying down for about 5 minutes afterwards with her legs elevated maybe with pillows, this would maximize this.

There is a ton of information on the web about fertility and getting pregnant. Here is the most surprising thing I learned and only after some 80 hours of research did I happen upom this. Lubes, even non-spermicidal, are hostile to sperm. So, you should not use lube. If you need or want to, use Pre Seed, available on-line or at CVS or Walgreens. Many women swear by it.
