Ejaculate volume decrease

By Rob on May 7, 2012 at 2:11 PM

I am 51, I reach orgasm daily, sometimes multiple times a day. Seems in the last couple years the fluid volume has decreased by 90%. What is causing this? I drink at least a half gallon of water, or more, daily. I understand that volume decreases with multiple daily orgasms. The only time I see any increase is if I go without for a week, and its not how I used to be.

At 44 I'm can't tell how much of a decrease in volume I've seen but I definately don't ejaculate with the same force I did when I was 20.

Rob - the volume of ejaculate varies depending on hydration status, zinc levels, and unfortunately, age. As a man gets older, the volume of his ejaculate will decrease noticeably. But if you keep yourself in good health, it should not be much of an issue. Multiple orgasms a day, however, will definitely curtail the amount you ejaculate.
