B, It is true that anyone worth having sex with should care enough about you to be turned on by you however you look, and that men are not as judgemental as you think. If professional counseling is an option (financially, etc.), then YES! Definitely seek therapy--it's such an amazing tool & can really help with anxiety. You said your fears are overwhelming; you deserve to have a much "easier" life than that! I have suffered from an anxiety disorder for much of my life &, using as many tools as have been available to me, I have more than gotten it under control. Now, after years of being scared to death of relationships, I am in a loving, committed, fulfilling relationship. It's amazing that you have such an understanding boyfriend. Take your time...
